YEYU is a fresh startup with Chinese and international background working on a new sport, fitness and health platform for China. We are a passionate, open-minded and dedicated team looking for a talented Social Media Marketing Manager to administer our social and media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. 

As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. 


Job Responsibilities


• Create, maintain and enhance our social media presence on all mainstream platforms
(Chinese and international)
• Establish attractive social media campaigns adapted to both the Chinese market and Expat market
• Plan and implement creative strategies to grow user base, followers and engagement
• Oversee design (i.e. Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter
profile, Blog, etc.)
• Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
• Communicate the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way

• Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and
answering questions where appropriate
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

• Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company
• Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns
• Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media
campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
• Compile reports for management showing results (ROI)




• Fluent in Chinese and English
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, PR and/ or related subject areas - Sports Marketing experience is a plus
• Passionate about sports, fitness and health
• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram, Youku, Weibo, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

• Knowledge of the fitness & health blogging ecosystem • Great ability to identify potential crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues

• Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
